We found a 4 star gem in the heart of Simon’s Town, away from the busy main road. Set on the water’s edge looking out onto the harbour. Quayside’s rooms have views of either False Bay or Simon’s Kloof Mountain. It is comfortably furnished for a room of two; in creams, mustards and luxurious finishes that contrast its surroundings.
Opposite the hotel on the boardwalk there are cute little antique shops and delicious local delis with a French twist. Locals close up early allowing you to relax in the hotel and take in the views. In the morning you wake up to a spectacular view of the sunrise and the smell of the ocean on your private balcony.
After taking in the views you can head down to the local delis to enjoy coffee and croissants or a big English breakfast. Thereafter you can take a beautiful walk down to the pier to admire more of the scenery.
Quayside Hotel offers the full package from 360 degree views to delicious delis, shopping and most importantly enjoying the quiet and relaxing space. What a treat it was for a weekend away.
